home for now

We're calling Washington, D.C. home for now. And while it'll never feel like Milan, this city will have to do as we prepare ourselves for another big move.

To Philadelphia? Nope, that was just for a weekend of cupcake-eating and Liberty Bell watching.

To Chicago? Nope. That visit was just to catch-up with family and friends and celebrate my half-birthday on a wooden carousel at the zoo.

And what about last Friday night when I took Stefano to the airport to say goodbye but instead bought a last minute plane ticket and got on the plane to Miami with him? Could we be moving to Miami? Again, nope. That was just a little test to see whether or not it's possible to survive a weekend down south with just a purse.

(I'm here to report that you can most certainly survive a weekend in Miami with only a purse. So long as there's a Target store nearby that's well-stocked with t-shirts and flip-flops, and your in-laws are good enough to loan you a comb.)

As for where our lives are taking us next? How about 13 hours into the future... let's see what life in Seoul looks like.
